Course Overview
Course Synopsis
Emotional Intelligence Course – Level 5 is part of the Leadership Courses series on Coursemology. It is designed to strengthen the emotional intelligence of managers and senior management. This course equips learners with the practice of reflecting on one’s work performance and leadership style, and teaches learners to display effective communication techniques and behaviour that demonstrates the organisational values and ethics. This enables learners to collaborate better with stakeholders in the development of strategic priorities and communication plans, and to promote organisation within the company.
Designed to be experiential and practical, the course has multiple case studies and aims to share experiences and insights to facilitate peer learning and shape mindsets to equip learners to be effective leaders.

- Understand the trends and factors of strategic planning
- Examine the relationship between the mission and objectives of the organisation and strategic planning
- Consult with stakeholders for the mission and objectives of the organisation
- Involve management team for aligning organisation strategies to business goals
- Comply with corporate governance and social responsibility requirements
- Review systems and processes for compliance management
Communicate with Stakeholders Effectively in Promoting Organisation
- Obtain support and buy-in from stakeholders
- Engage employees to guide implementation of the organisation plan
- Influence stakeholders for business goals achievement and role modelling of leadership and behaviours
Develop Self Awareness to Maintain Integrity and Alignment of Ethics and Values
- Identify issues and trends that may affect decision-making
- Deploy methods of maintaining integrity in decision-making
- Align your personal ethics and values with the organisation’s for leadership style development
- Consider key factors in identifying professional development opportunities for self
Statement of Attainment
Participants who fulfil all requirements will receive a Statement of Attainment (SOA) issued by the SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG).
