‘Facility’ is a building such as sports centers, offices, institution buildings that are built or maintained to permit individuals to take an interest in work, game, amusement activities, exercises, such as a pool, recreation center, offices, gym etc. ‘Facility Management’ or ‘FM’ includes all services required for the management of buildings and real estate to maintain and increase their value. This includes integration of multi-disciplinary activities within the built environment to provide maintenance support, project management and user management during the building life cycle. Facility Management has an impact both upon people and the workplace.
