Traditional Dumpling Making Workshop

This hands‑on workshop introduces learners to traditional dumpling making techniques, covering popular varieties such as Kee Chang, Chicken Chang, and Nyonya Chang. Participants will learn the preparation of fillings, wrapping techniques, and cooking methods through guided, practical sessions. The course is designed for individuals and groups who wish to explore traditional dumpling making in an engaging and experiential setting.

Learn to make 3 different types of Traditional Dumplings:

Kee Chang - Traditional alkaline rice dumpling with a soft, chewy texture, usually enjoyed plain or with sweet syrup

Chicken Chang - Savoury glutinous rice dumpling filled with marinated chicken, known for its fragrant and hearty flavour.

Nyonya Chang - Peranakan‑style dumpling with a sweet‑savory filling, featuring spices and traditional Nyonya flavours.

Participants will be able to bring home the items prepared during the course.
