Course Outline
By the end of the course, learners will be able to:
- LO1. Use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when handling cleaning chemicals
- LO2. Prepare appropriate types and quantities of cleaning chemicals for different cleaning activities
- LO3. Apply cleaning chemicals in their cleaning operations in accordance with organisational procedures and guidelines
- LO4. Conduct chemical replenishment and storage in preparation for the next cleaning cycle
- LO5. Report to the supervisor or person-in-charge when work cannot be carried out and/or incidents occur
- LO6. Handle incidents related to the inappropriate use of cleaning chemicals

Participants who are assessed as Competent will receive a Statement of Attainment (SOA) issued by SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG).
Pre-requisites
Learners are encouraged to:
- Able to read, speak and write English at a proficiency level equivalent to the Employability Skills System (ESS) Literacy Level 2
- Able to manipulate numbers at a proficiency level equivalent to the ESS Numeracy Level 2
Our staff and course consultants will assess interested trainees to ensure they meet these prerequisites, including the specified WPLN levels, and to determine any relevant licenses they may require for their work role. Learners who do not meet the WPLN Levels will be advised to enroll in appropriate WSQ cleaning courses and other WPLN courses to build a strong foundation for this supervisory training.
