Course Objectives
To demonstrate mastery of the tasks in this course, the participants must be able to do the following within the given time limit and with the materials, tools and equipment supplied:performing security duties within and in the surrounding areas of the protected areas and protected places under the Infrastructure Protection Act (IPA).

Course Content
- Obtain knowledge on the level of authority authorized officers can exercise under the Infrastructure Protection Act
- Learn the procedures for rules of engagement with proper screening protocols, search procedures, detention, and arrest procedures.
- Manage and deny entries into the (IPA) buildings through the ability to detect, deter and deny unauthorized intelligence and suspicious activities in the building and at specific surrounding areas.
Learning Outcome
- Understand IPA and its purpose
- Manage entries into protected areas and protected places
- Handle suspicious incidents involving person or vehicle at specified area of protected area and protected places.
- Handle suspicious incidents involving Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) sighted at specific surrounding areas of protected area and protected places
Entry Requirements
- Have at least a primary education qualification
- Ability to listen and speak in English at WSQ (ES WSQ) level 4
- Ability to read and write in English at Employability Skill WSQ (ES WSQ) level 4
- Applicants who don’t fully meet the entry requirements are encouraged to contact us for an interview to discuss their suitability for the program

- Malaysian Citizen with valid work pass
Certification
Participants who fulfil all requirements will be certified with a Statement of Attainment (SOA) issued by the SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG).
