Subsidies and Awards for WSQ Courses
SkillsFuture Qualification Award
(SQA)
The SkillsFuture Qualification Award (SQA) encourages workers to attain WSQ full qualifications, equipping them with skills to pursue career progression and explore new job opportunities.
Workfare Skills Support
(WSS Scheme)
Workfare Skills Support, or WSS Scheme, encourages low wage workers to undertake training that leads to more impactful employment outcomes. Eligible individuals may receive training allowance for selected courses that individuals had paid for themselves and/or cash reward for completing training.
SkillsFuture Mid-Career Enhanced Subsidy (MCES)
The Mid-Career Enhanced Subsidy is for Singaporeans aged 40 years old and above. Eligible individuals will receive higher subsidies of up to 90% of course fees.
Post Secondary Education Account (PSEA)
The PSEA is part of the Singapore Government’s efforts to encourage every Singaporean to complete his post-secondary education. A PSEA account holder can use his PSEA funds to pay for his own or his siblings’ (where applicable) approved fees and charges for approved PSEA courses conducted by various institutions.
SkillsFuture Credit
SkillsFuture Credit consists of credits which Singapore Citizens can use to pay for out-of-pocket course fees for attending work-skills related courses. The credits can be used on top of existing course fee subsidies provided by the Government.
