At the end of the course, learners will be able to:

  • LO1. Explain the importance of adhering to WSH policies and procedures / 解释遵守WSH政策和程序的重要性
  • LO2. Describe their role and responsibilities in maintaining and improving workplace safety / 描述他们在维护和改进工作场所安全方面的作用和责任
  • LO3. Interpret and comply with common safety signs, instructions, and hazard symbols / 解释并遵守常见的安全标志、说明和危险符号
  • LO4. Identify the appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety device required for the safe operations of different tools and equipment in the workplace / 确定工作场所不同工具和设备安全操作所需的适当个人防护装备(PPE)和安全装置
  • LO5. Support compliance inspections within the work area to identify non-compliances, unsafe work conditions, and unsafe practices / 支持工作区域内的合规检查,以确定不合规、不安全的工作条件和不安全的做法

Course Funding Options

Eligible Singaporeans can use SkillsFuture Credit to offset course fees, while NTUC members can utilise UTAP for up to 50% funding (capped at $250 per year). Companies can also benefit from Absentee Payroll (AP) funding at $4.50 per hour, capped at $100,000 per year.

本课程将帮助餐饮行业的员工提高工作场所的安全和健康意识,协助检查任何问题或不合规情况,并分享改进/纠正措施。在学习这些技能的过程中,学习者还将学习遵守他们工作的餐厅、厨房或食品/饮料摊位的工作场所安全程序和流程。

This course will help employees in the F&B industry to gain awareness of workplace health and safety at the workplace, assist in checks for any issues or non-compliances, as well as share control measures to improve/rectify them. In the course of picking up these skills, learners will also learn to comply with workplace safety procedures and processes in the restaurants, kitchens, or food/drink stalls they work in.

Mode of Assessment

At the end of the course, participants will be required to undergo an assessment for 2 hours, which comprises of practical performance (PP), a written assessment that consists of Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQ), and Short Answer Questions (SAQ).

Minimum Entry

  • At least 18 years old / 至少18岁
  • Have minimum primary school education / 具有最低小学教育程度
  • Have a basic knowledge of the Singapore Workplace Safety and Health requirements / 具备新加坡工作场所安全和健康要求的基本知识
  • Able to speak, listen, write, and read English with Numeracy skills at a minimum proficiency level of the Employability Skills Workforce Skills Qualification i.e., Workplace Literacy and Numeracy (WPLN) Level 4 / 能够说、听、写和读英语,具备算术技能,最低熟练程度为就业能力技能劳动力技能资格,即工作场所识字和算术(WPLN)4级

Who Should Attend

  2. Navigate to “Submit SkillsFuture Credit Claims” and search for the course using the TGS Code provided in your invoice.
  3. Select Food Safety Course Level 3 and enter the amount of SkillsFuture Credit you wish to claim, ensuring it matches the “SkillsFuture Credit” amount on your invoice. 
  4. Upload a copy of your invoice, review the details, agree to the terms, and submit your claim.
  5. Finally, screenshot the Claim ID page and email it to your Coursemology agent for confirmation.

Do I need to renew my Food Hygiene Officer (FHO) certification?

The Food Hygiene Officer certificate obtained upon successful completion of the WSQ Food Safety Course at Level 3 is valid for life. Unlike the basic Food Hygiene Certificate (Level 1), it does not require renewal.
