Course Overview
UA Pilot License (UAPL)
Commercial drone training designed for individuals who wish to join the rapidly growing drone / unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) industry as a drone operator. Upon completion of this course, student can go for a CAAS UA Pilot License (UAPL) Assessment with Drone Elements UATO at a separate fee.

CAAS Drone Permit
In Singapore, permits may be required to operate an unmanned aircraft (UA) under certain conditions. The Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore issues the CAAS Operator Permit & CAAS Activity Permit which are required for certain types of UA activities.
The Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS) is a Statutory Board under the Ministry of Transport.

Course Objectives
At the end of this course, participants will be equipped with the necessary theoretical knowledge and practical skills of a professional Unmanned Aircraft (UA) Pilot which are necessary to obtain the UAPL Class A Rotorcraft (Limited to Multi-Rotor Up to 7kg). It enables the participants to gain an in-depth understanding of pilot competency to operate a UA safely. Participants shall undergo intensive flying practice with a multi-rotor up to 7kg to operate the required maneuvers in ATTI mode.
The course is targeted at helping learners to acquire:
1. An understanding and appreciation of the available UA technology;
2. The know-how to set up and dismantle UA in preparation for aerial shoots;
3. The know-how to apply for and maintain permits, licenses, and approvals for aerial shoots;
4. The know-how to maintain and care for the UA;
5. Appreciation of how UA technology can be used for industry applications

Minimum Entry Requirement
• Be at least 16 years of age
• Be able to listen and speak English at a proficiency level equivalent to the Employability Skills System Workplace Literacy (WPL) Level 3
• Be able to read and write English at a proficiency level equivalent to Employability Skills System Workplace Literacy (WPL) Level 3
• Be able to use numeracy skills equivalent to the Employability Skills System Workplace Numeracy (WPN) Level 3
Drone License / Certification
Upon completion of the course, a Statement of Attainment (SOA) will be issued as a proof of UATPC training course attended.
