Clean escalators, travelators and lift surfaces, a module in WSQ Environmental Cleaning trains cleaners in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of escalators, travelators and lift surfaces in a safe manner.

Participants will be equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills required in preparing for cleaning activities, manually cleaning escalators, travelators, and lift surfaces, and reinstating the work area.

- Perform manual cleaning of escalator and travelator surfaces

Cleaning Certification
Upon being assessed as “Competent”, learners will be awarded a WSQ Statement of Attainment (SOA) from the Workforce Singapore Agency (WSG).
WSQ Certificate for Environmental Cleaning
The participant who completes this module PLUS the following 4 modules will be awarded the WSQ Certificate of Environmental Cleaning.
- Workplace Safety and Health Practices Implementation
- Clean Furniture and Furnishings
- Perform Basic Cleaning of Washrooms
- Clean Vertical Surfaces, Glass and Ceiling
